Introduction
Litchard Football Club is committed to providing an inclusive environment where everyone can
participate regardless of race, gender, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief, or
socioeconomic background. We are committed to equality, fairness and respect in all club activities.
Aims & Objectives
Promote equality and diversity; create an inclusive environment; ensure nobody experiences
discrimination, harassment or victimisation.
Legal Framework
This policy supports the Equality Act 2010, the Children Act 2004 and the Safeguarding Vulnerable
Groups Act 2006.
Policy Statement
The club promotes equality, diversity and inclusion, makes reasonable adjustments where required,
and expects everyone involved with the club to treat others with dignity and respect.
Implementation
All coaches, volunteers and committee members will receive appropriate safeguarding and equality
awareness. Recruitment is fair and transparent, barriers to participation are reduced where
possible, and the club monitors compliance and reviews this policy annually.
Reporting Concerns
Anyone who believes they have experienced discrimination or witnessed behaviour contrary to this
policy should report it to the Club Safeguarding Officer or Club Committee. All concerns will be
investigated promptly and fairly.
