Reporting & Complaints
Litchard Football Club takes all complaints seriously. Any participant, coach, volunteer or staff member who believes they have experienced discrimination or witnessed a breach of a club policy
should report the matter to the Club Safeguarding Officer. All concerns will be investigated promptly
and fairly.
Submitting a Complaint
Safeguarding concerns should be submitted in writing to the Club Safeguarding Officer and the
Club Committee.
Information to Include
State what happened, when and where it occurred, any witnesses and contact details, details of
previous complaints (if applicable), and your preferred outcome.
Investigation Process
The Club may request further information before arranging a Personal Hearing with an appointed
Panel to consider the complaint.
Possible Outcomes
No further action; further training; verbal warning; written warning; exclusion from matches;
exclusion from training; temporary removal from a team; refusal of re-registration.
Suspension During Investigation
Where necessary, an individual may be suspended or have restrictions placed upon their
involvement while enquiries are carried out. This is a neutral safeguarding measure and does not
indicate guilt.
